Burglary and criminal damages at Yuma parks

The Yuma Police Department responded to a total of four calls involving criminal damage and burglary at the Cibola Athletic Complex and Sunrise Optimist Park between Friday, Aug. 4th, and Thursday, Aug. 17th .

Cibola Athletic Complex is located at 4100 W. 20th St. and the Sunrise Optimist Park is located at 4498 W. 20th St.

YPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible and deterring future crimes. Please report any suspicious persons in the area, especially during nighttime hours.

The estimated damages caused so far are of approximately $2,750.
