The sun is out and so are scammers for the summer. More people are traveling, putting them at risk for falling victim to credit card skimmers. A credit card skimmer is a small device that is placed inside ATMS and at gas pumps that captures card information.
There have been recent cases reported in Phoenix, but credit card skimmers can be placed at any ATM or gas pump in any city. Now local law enforcement officials are reminding the community to always stay alert.
