Farmer looses control of controlled burn

A brush fire started around 1:45 p.m. on Monday off the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation in Winterhaven. Fire crews arrived on scene and controlled the fire. According to fire officials a farmer tried to burn his field and the wind caused the fire to spread.
