VWE brings lucha wrestling to Imperial Valley
Here is a fun event for the kids and the whole family to enjoy, Venue Wrestling Entertainment in Imperial Valley is partnering with Casa Imperial County for a night of lucha libre fun.
The event takes place Saturday at the Fun 4 All in El Centro, and the main attraction of night will be Rey Mysterio, Mr. 619 and Lil Cholo VS. Johnny Mundo and Rocky Romero, along with many other lucha entertainers.
We spoke to the commissioner of VWE to see how the wrestlers are gearing up.
“Johnny is the current lucha underground champion and last night, Johnny and his crew actually jumped ray on TV so we will see what happens this Saturday when they get into the ring, you never know. VWE, we do it for kids because growing up were all kids at heart, and we remember going and seeing it and being a part of it, so we want the kids to have the memory, we do not just do a wrestling show, we do a show,” said Jayson Hisel, “The Commissioner” with Venue Wrestling Entertainment.
