Pregnant woman and man found dead
A pregnant woman and a man that were found dead south of Los Algodones have been identified as Yuma residents.
Authorities said that a worker in the area noticed a white sedan parked along a road. When he approached the vehicle, one of the doors was left open and noticed two lifeless bodies inside.
Officials have confirmed the identities of the two bodies. The woman was identified to be 22-year-old Sofia Berenice Duran Sandoval, she was six months pregnant. The man was identified as 21-year-old Juan Barrientos Martinez.
Officials say that the two both died from self inflicted gun shot wounds. Authorities believe it may have been a murder-suicide.
