It’s considered one of President Donald J. Trump’s more popular platforms, the desolation of the Affordable Care Act also known as Obamacare. The GOP health care bill dubbed the American Health Care Act promises to fix the issues with its predecessor.
The American Health Care Act will keep some of the more popular services from the ACA like allowing dependents under the age of twenty six to stay on their parent’s plan also patients with pre-existing conditions will still be covered and the price cap on out of pocket cost will also be kept.
The new plan will get rid of the individual and employer mandates, Medicaid will be restructured making states financially responsible for the program. Another big change is the loss of the premium cap which prevents insurances companies from raising their price on older Americans.
