Two armed robberies occur within minutes of each other, sharing suspect descriptions

Local police need your help finding the suspect or suspects connected to two armed robberies that occurred early Saturday morning in Yuma.

At 6:13 AM, the Yuma Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K, 820 West 32nd Street. Minutes later at 6:20 AM, a second armed robbery occurred at the Chevron at 2491 West 16th Street.

Police say both armed robberies reported a similar set of circumstances. Both victim clerks reported an adult male dressed in dark clothing, a ball cap and a bandana covering his face, entered the business, displayed a knife and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the scene.
