Jingle Mingle to help Humane Society of Imperial County

It’s the first day of December, the holiday season is in full swing with an new event set to take place in Imperial.

it’s the jingle mingle event and it will take place in Imperial next Thursday starting at 5pm pacific time. We spoke to organizers today who were busy setting up.

“We are going to have seven beautiful homes that everybody can tour for 15 to 25 dollars and all the money will benefit the humane society,” said Valentina Estes, Director, Imperial Chamber of Commerce.

The night’s festivities will include and ugly sweater contest, raffles and pet adoptions on site.

“We looked at the humane society and really saw a need for some money and also some recognition around town saying, hey we have all these adorable animals that need a loving home,” said Michelle Hollinger, Director, Imperial Chamber of Commerce.

Seven homes will be decorated inside and out for attendees and don’t forget our furry friends who will joining the holiday fun.

“It’s very community oriented and we thought it would be a great opportunity to be part of the first annual jingle mingle.”

“This actually is Sheila, she will be available for adoption the day of the event, she is seven years old, she is potty trained. I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time with her today, she’s amazing,” said Mr. and Mrs. Kerns of Imperial.
