Car crash sends four to the hospital

A pregnant woman and her two children were sent to the hospital after the truck they were in was t-boned by another driver.

The incident happened on Main Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue at 6:45 a.m. when the driver of a Chrysler sedan crashed into a Toyota pickup truck.

Somerton/Cocopah Fire Department officials say the 27-year-old woman and her children, 8 and 6 years old, did not suffer any injuries but were still sent to the hospital to make sure they were okay.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 24-year-old man, suffered arm injuries and was also taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center.
