Arizona Western College’s “Golf Cart Parade”

Arizona Western College is getting their spirits hyped up for the big “Toro Bowl” this Saturday.

Every year clubs around campus decorate a golf cart according to the theme. This year’s theme is “decades” where each club decorated their own golf cart representing different decades.

This is the second time Enrique Marquez has MC’d the event, and he is looking for creativity, time, and spirit. “It’s always fun the clubs have a blast doing it, they get really creative! Some of the golf carts is just like…some of them it’s really exciting what they actually come up with.” From the eleven clubs, Student Government picks three floats to compete in this Saturday’s Toro Bowl. The winner of the contest receives a trophy and bragging rights until next year’s compeition.
