Yuma: Dozens of residents evicted from Veterans Assisted Living

Just a year after opening its doors an assisted living facility is evicting its tenants. The center promoted itself as a friendly alternative living facility for veterans and their families.

The company managing the property, Solterra Senior Living, says the decision to evict the tenants was made by the property owners, Tucson based Family Housing Resources. They say there are about 45 residents living at the facility and all but six have found new homes.

News 11 has reached out to Family Housing Resources for comment on the matter, and have yet to hear back.
