Jeanie’s Party and Costumes store has been serving Yuma County for over forty years.

Jeanie Pace, the owner of the store, expresses how it’s a surprise for every person that walks into her store.

” I think you can find anything your heart desires, When you walk into the store and the store jumps out at you. There are so many costumes, things that you would never think of” Javier Gallaga, an employee and balloon expert, says he has seen it all and knows what exactly customers are looking for. “Hhundreds of different costumes, you can find either flapper dresses, 60’s costumes, scary costumes, superhero costumes, pirate costumes, practically anything.” Gallaga says. Since Jeanie’s has been apart of the community for years, it’s now the “go-to” spot for a lot of locals. Pace tells us, “When I fist started forty some years ago, there weren’t many party supplies stores here, in fact there wasn’t any. Each business had maybe a little bit of this and that but nothing so commercialized in one spot where you can go and buy everything. They’re just so surprised that we have as many things as we do,not only can you shop for costumes, but you could shop for paper ware, accessories, things for parties, other parties, than Halloween.” Either you get a costume at Jeanie’s or make one yourself, on Halloween we will have a Halloween Costume Contest from 6am-7am during our Sunrise show. Prizes will be awarded, so get that costume ready!
