AWC host’s Yuma Youth Town Hall
More than 100 area high school students spent the day at Arizona Western College for the Yuma Youth Town Hall.
This year’s theme was health and wellness. Companies and health professionals from around Yuma County spent the morning talking to students about their experiences and what they can do to have future in health and wellness.
Organizers hope the event will get students to think about staying in Yuma after high school and college. Yuma youth town halls happen twice a year.
Students from area high schools are selected to attend.
