IVC helps students deal with the stress of finals week
IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- Finals week can be stressful for college students who might need to ace a test, just to make a passing grade for the course.
This week the Imperial Valley College's student affairs program is helping students find some sense of comfort with a list of activities that include free donuts and popcorn, pet therapy, and other campus activities.
Associated Student Government President, Moises Hernandez said, "You have to be in a good state of mind in order to do well in our academics. And so if you're very stress you're not going to be focusing on what's going to be important. Which is your curriculum. And once you release that stress you'll be fine. And you'll be able to focus during that final that you have to pass."
