One of the cars involved was a Ford-150 truck. The driver, a 51-year-old man from Salt Lake City was turning North on SR-115, this according to California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The truck then collided with a Subaro Forester.

The Ford truck had five passengers, inclusing a baby. The driver and two adult passengers were taken to the El Centro Regional Medical Center.

We spoke to Bolin who said she was at the stop sign on SR-115 and witnessed the crash.

She says the truck was taking a left turn when it collided with the Subaru.

The impact sent the Subaru spinning in her direction, hitting her car.

” I knew I was going to witness a crash, and then the car was coming towards me and I thought Oh gosh, I hope I’m going to be okay, ” said Bolin .

Bolin said she is doing fine and is extremely grateful to be alive.

” I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t stop thinking of the woman injured, and I hope she is okay, ” said Bolin .

Bolin a long-time resident of Holtville says the intersection where the accident happened is a dangerous one and said it needs extra safety measures.
