Arizona teen arrested for school threat

A 13-year-old Prescott Valley boy is in custody for threatening to shoot up his middle school.

Police say the teenager told classmates Wednesday he planned to bring guns to school open fire on both students and teachers.

Officers arrested the boy on suspicion of terroristic threats and for disrupting an educational facility.

He’s been booked into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention facility.
