Arizona Western College begins Promise Program

Arizona Western College ( AWC ) is offering free tuition through the Promise Program to all YUHSD 2020 high school graduates.

This guarantees a debt free community college education according to Dr. Daniel Corr, AWC President.

AWC hopes that offering free tuition is incentive enough for students who want to receive their associates degree.

If you want to receive the benefits the Promise Program offers, students must apply for the student loan FAFSA, enroll full time at AWC , and upon receiving an associates degree at the college, you must transfer to one of the three universities, University of Arizona-Yuma, Arizona State University @ Yuma, or Northern Arizona University-Yuma. After completing those steps students will be able to apply for reimbursement of 100% of their out-of-pocket tuition and fee costs.
