Phoenix woman trapped in storm drain
A Phoenix woman is safe after getting trapped in a storm drain.
Azfamily.com reports it happened around ten Thursday morning near Peoria and 19th avenues.
Rescue crews scrambled to free her. They say she was alert and able to communicate with them during the process.
Eventually she climbed out of the drain on her own.
Paramedics say she wasn’t hurt during her ordeal.
Still no word on how she managed to fall into the drain.
