Military Matters: Honoring Lance Cpl. Hunter Gullick

For this week’s military matters, we honor Lance Cpl. Hunter Gullick , Military Police Officer, Provost Marshall’s Office ( PMO ), Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron (H&HS), Marine Corps Air Station ( MCAS ) Yuma.

Lance Cpl. Gullick served 3 years as a Military Police Officer with PMO , and works in the Services Department.

The Services Department is responsible for manning the air station’s gates and checkpoints, as well as patrolling the station. Prior to being stationed on MCAS Yuma, Gullick was a military dog handler for 2.5 years in Okinawa, Japan.

Gullick joined the Marine Corps in the wake of the 2015 San Bernardino shooting, and says, “I felt like I had an obligation to serve my country.”

In his free time, Lance Cpl. Gullick enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and playing sports.
