Conference for Imperial County Hemp Summit and Expo

The Imperial County Board of Supervisors are going to hold a press conference Wednesday to announce details of the Imperial County Hemp Summit and Expo event that’s scheduled late September.

The press conference will be held at 10 a.m. at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds Boardroom (Building located north of Office) 200 East 2nd Street Imperial , CA.

The expo is scheduled to happen September 27-28 at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds.

Set to speak at the ceremony is the Chairman of the Board and District 4 Supervisor Ryan E. Kelley, Imperial County Agricultural Commissioner Carlos Ortiz, and California Industrial Hemp Advisory Board Member, and Imperial County farmer John Currier.

The Imperial County Hemp Summit and Expo is held as an all encompassing marketplace for education, networking and marketing for growers, processors, manufacturers and retailers in the hemp industry.

The event will have a full day of expert panels and speeches led by top industry professionals, regional tours of local growing operations and research facilities and a two-day business expo
