City of Yuma releases preliminary, unofficial election results

The City of Yuma announced Tuesday night unofficial election results as of 8:00 p.m.

The tweet states “No Council candidates yet on pace to exceed 50-plus percent threshold to be elected directly to office. Judge Umphress is elected to another 4-year term on Municipal Court. ”

In a separate tweet The City of Yuma stated Mike Shelton, Ema Lea Shoop and Edward Thomas are the current three leaders. But as of now, the same field of Council candidates would compete again on November 5.
