Yuma County Library events: week of August 26

In August 2019, the Yuma Main Library will host Business, Career, and Finance Talks at the Main Library. Aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, job seekers, and students welcome!

On Tuesday, August 27th , Business Librarian Andrew Zollman will present “It’s Time for a Job Interview” at 4:00 p.m. Learn what to expect and how to prepare for a successful job interview. There is no charge to attend; however, space is limited and registration is required. To register, send an e-mail to andrew.zollman@yumalibrary.org.

Stargazers can enjoy the cosmos at the Foothills Library! The library’s astronomy group will meet at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29th , in the Foothills Library parking lot, 13226 E. South Frontage Road. Lawn chairs, binoculars, and telescopes welcome!

Telescopes will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Foothills Library. There is no charge to attend.

On Friday, August 30th , families are invited to the San Luis Library at 3:00 p.m. for Basic Origami. Learn the ancient art of folding paper to create beautiful objects! Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge to attend.
