Wanted man in custody after trying to run from officers

A wanted man was arrested after trying to run from Yuma Police (YPD) officers Monday evening near 8th Street and Avenue B.

YPD said the man who is now in custody was wanted on two warrants.

There were no injuries during the foot pursuit or any damages, according to YPD.
