Car hits power pole, leaves over 200 customers without power

Arizona Public Service ( APS ) confirmed a power outage affecting 202 customers was caused by a car striking a power pole.

APS said the vehicle hit the pole and left the scene.

The outage was reported at 7:48 a.m. The boundary involved in the outage surrounds Rosewood Drive to Palmcroft Drive and Avenue A to Mesa Avenue in Yuma.

Power is expected to be restored at 5:30 p.m, APS said.
