In recent weeks, the organization publicly announced in a post on Facebook that the combination of President Donald Trump’s remain in Mexico and safe third country policies have left hundreds of people stranded in Mexicali with few resources.

In addition, the organization stated that there are over 70 migrant children currently at their shelter.
