YPD releases PSA about gas skimmers
The Yuma Police Department ( YPD ) is warning the public about gas skimmers as the summer travel months have arrived.
YPD reminded the public to not use debit cards at the pump and instead use credit cards.
Sergeant Lori Franklin illustrated the safety seals located on gas pumps to ensure drivers know what to look out for.
They also explained that they confiscate the skimming devices and hold them in their evidence department.
