Some brands of bottled water can give you cancer

Certain brands of bottled water being sold at Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods have been found with a potentially poisonous chemical.

USA Today says the California Center for Environmental Health has determined Peñafiel , owned by Keurig Dr. Pepper, and Starkey, owned by Whole Foods, have been tested to find high levels of arsenic.

According to the National Cancer Institute, Prolonged ingestion of arsenic-containing drinking water is associated with an increased risk of bladder cancer and skin cancer , and medical exposure to arsenic has been clearly associated with skin cancer in epidemiological studies. In addition, cancers of the lung, digestive traft , liver, kidney, and lymphatic and hematopoietic systems have been linked to arsenic exposure.

Earlier in the year, Consumer Reports also found those water brands contained almost double the federal limit for arsenic.
