Three dogs attack woman found dead at Costco parking lot
Police in Bakersfield, California say three dogs were involved in an attack on a woman who was found dead in the parking lot of a California Costco Sunday morning.
Bakersfield police say they think she was bitten by several dogs about half a block away.
When medical personnel arrived, they pronounced the woman dead.
Police say animal control officers found and caught the three dogs involved.
Two dogs, a pitbull and a mixed large-breed dog, were owned by a nearby business owner.
Another pitbull they think was involved is believed to be a stray.
The woman’s cause of death is not yet confirmed.
Her identified is not being released at this time.
