Nature’s Frozen Foods avocado chunks recalled

A voluntary recall was issued Tuesday for avocado chunks from Nature’s Touch Frozen Foods due to listeria fears in fifteen states.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said the recall is due to potential contamination with listeria. This includes products with the best before the date of Oct 11, 2020.

The FDA conducted a routine sampling program and found a positive result for listeria in one sample bag. No illnesses have been reported since the recall was issued.

The avocado chunks were Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, Texas and Utah and at these following banner stores:
