Yuma police respond to report of armed robbery

Yuma Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on Saturday.

Officers received a call about a suspect in the 1500 block of West 10th Place with a weapon who took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male about 18 to 25 years old, approximately 5’9 ” with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a red jersey, and had a red bandana to cover his face during the incident.

Officers say there were no reported injuries and no further information at this time.
