APS set planned upgrades for Wednesday evening

The Arizona Public Service has scheduled planned upgrades throughout Yuma that could affect residents Wednesday evening.

According to the Arizona Public Service ( APS ) outage map, the first planned upgrade will begin at 7 p.m. and will affect 16 customers in the areas of 3rd Street to 4th Street and 14th Avenue to 13th Avenue. Estimated restoration time is set for 9 p.m.

The second planned upgrade will begin at 11 p.m. that involves a pole replacement. Over 1,200 customers in the area of 24th Street to Interstate 8 and Fortuna Rd. to Camino Del Sol will be affected. Estimated restoration time is set for 5:00 a.m. Thursday.
