Actress Felicity Huffman reported to a Northern California Prison on Tuesday to begin a 14-day sentence. She is serving for her part in a national college admissions scandal involving prestigious universities around the U.S.

NBC News reports that the former ” Desperate Housewives ” star and one-time Oscar nominee will also have to pay a fine of thirty-thousand dollars and perform 250 hours of community service as part of her sentence.

The actress admitted to paying someone to boost her daughter’s college board tests, resulting in her score jumping 400 points over the original, NBC reports.

She is expected to serve the full 14 days because there is no time off for good behavior in the federal system for sentences less than a year.

According to her representative, Huffman will begin serving the remainder of the sentence — one year of supervised release, including 250 hours of community service — when she is released.
