Silver Alert canceled for missing 90-year-old man

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT, KECY)- An Iowa man who went missing on his way to Yuma from Lawrence, Kan., was found dead Sunday.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) said Mr. Larson's body was found in a wash near a trail in the Kofa Wildlife Refuge, north of the YPG Kofa Firing Range.

YCSO said his vehicle was located nearby, high centered and stuck on a ledge.

Mr. Larson's family has been notified.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office said the Search and Rescue Unit along with the assistance of the Civil Air Patrol Units located Mr. Larson's body.
