Nationwide recoveries continue to climb

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The latest statistics indicate coronavirus recoveries in the United States have hit 100,000.

106,518 to be exact, according to John Hopkins University, with other statistics outlets reporting as many as 118,000 recoveries.

Since the start of the pandemic there have been 963,168 confirmed cases in the United States.

In Arizona, cases have just hit 6,526. Yuma County is currently reporting 62 cases, however the county has not released recovery information.

100,000 recoveries is a big deal. Health officials nationwide are currently on the mission to keep deaths below the 100,000 Dr. Fauci has previously predicted.

So far, over 54,000 people in the United States have died.
