Recap of rounds 2 & 3
After an eventful 1st round in the virtual NFL Draft, the 2nd and 3rd round gave the opportunity for every team to address some key roster needs.
After scoring huge with Isaiah Simmons with the 8th ovarall pick, the Arizona Cardinals went after an offensive lineman in the 3rd round, with the selection of offensive tackle Josh Jones out of Houston.
Meanwhile, after sitting out the 1st round, the Los Angeles Rams had a pair of picks coming to them in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
In the 2nd, the Rams went with potential key skill guys in Florida State running back Cam Akers and wide receiver Van Jefferson of Florida.
Los Angeles then went defensive in the 3rd, as they picked up Alabama outside linebacker Terrell Lewis and Utah safety Terrell Burgess.
The Las Vegas Raiders already addressed needs at wide receiver and cornerback in the 1st round; highlighted by their 12th overall selection of Alabama's Henry Ruggs III.
In round 3, the Silver and Black went after 2 more receivers, taking Lynn Bowden of Kentucky and Bryan Edwards of South Carolina.
They also picked Clemson safety Tanner Muse late in the round.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers traded their 2nd and 3rd round picks away to New England to get linebacker Kenneth Murray late in the 1st round.
