Applications now being accepted

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Limited childcare funding is now available for Imperial County's essential workers.

Any county employee deemed an "Essential Critical Infrastructure Worker" will receive child care services through June 30, 2020, or until Governor Gavin Newsom lifts the State of Emergency, whichever comes first. You can find a definition of "essential workers" here.

Eligible parents can select their own childcare provider, or choose one from the Resource and Referral Online Database.

Essential workers will need to apply for Emergency Childcare. You can find all the forms you need here. The forms can be returned via fax, email, or drop off box.
