Update Storm Watch: Power Outage in Yuma County

Arizona Public Service reporting outages throughout Yuma County.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KSWT). Arizona Public Service currently has crews on scene throughout Yuma County. An outage is being reported between 10th Street and 11th Street and Avenue C through Avenue G; 14 people are reported without power. It's unknown if the power outage is connected to the storm system currently over the county.

APS is also reporting an outage on County 16th Street between Avenue 1E and Avenue 2 1/2E; 44 residents are reported without power. That outage is said to be connected to a motor vehicle accident involving a utility pole. Crews are on site at both locations. According to their outage map, power should be restored on County 16th in the next hour; as for the outage near 10th Street and Avenue C, that may be out until noon on Wednesday.

Update: Crews have been sent to Dateland for reports of a power outage in the area of Palmas Road and Agua Caliente Road. Seventeen homes are affected; unknown if recent storm activity is to blame. Estimated time of restoration is around 8:50 pm.
