Firefighters battle fire in Ensenada
Rosarito firefighters fight a forest fire that started Thursday at kilometer 38 of the Rosarito-Ensenada free highway, which dangerously extends to the Villas de San Pedro subdivision.
El Imparcial reports firefighters are still at the scene to prevent the flames to reach other populated areas.
As of now, there are three critical areas in places known as Santa Martha, Rancho Las Cabañas and on the Ensenada Libre wagon – La Mision at kilometer 72.
As of now, no injuries or evacuations have been reported.
Reports said that due to strong winds it is very likely that the fire will spread to the Bajamar area, along the Scenic road, El Sol de Tijuana reported.
