Taco Bell sales improve following cyclospora outbreak

(CNN, KYMA) - Business is rebounding at Taco Bell after sales took a hit over the summer during the cyclospora outbreak.

Sales at the fast food chain fell 4% in the third quarter after the parasitic outbreak was linked to shredded iceberg lettuce used by Taco Bell.

The outbreak that caused explosive diarrhea was ruled over in September.

Since then, Taco Bell's same-store sales have improved each week since a July low point.
