Savannah Guthrie makes another plea for missing mother

(CNN, KYMA) - It's been nine months since the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of NBC "Today Show" co-host Savannah Guthrie.

Savannah Guthrie made another public plea Sunday for information in the case.

She wrote on Instagram, "Our mom was a light in this world. We want to celebrate her and give her the dignity she deserves...Please help us."

Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson-area home on February 1.

Local and federal law enforcement officials still have no main suspect, nor any particular person of interest.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said Friday its investigators traveled to Florida to meet with scientists in hopes of furthering DNA analysis in the case.

PCSD is still seeking tips in the ongoing case, and a reward is still available.
