Savannah Guthrie shares new plea to bring her mother home

(NBC, KYMA) - TODAY Show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie shared a new plea Monday to bring her mother home.

Guthrie posted a new video on Instagram nearly six months after her mother, Nancy, was taken from her home near Tucson, Arizona.

Police think she was abducted by an intruder.

In the video, Guthrie appears to address her mother's abductor, pleading for them to "do the right thing" and "tell us where to look for her."

"I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing. Help us bring this situation to an end," Guthrie expressed. "For all of us, no matter where we've been and what we've done. I believe there is always a way home. Please make the right choice."

Last month, Guthrie briefly spoke to reporters about a second ransom note sent to media outlets following her mother's disappearance.

The note indicated Nancy, 84, died but did not contain an apology or request for payment for the release of her body, according to three people familiar with the matter.
