Crews rescue four stranded in flooded creek in Arizona

YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA) - A dramatic rescue in Arizona after four people became stranded on the roof of an SUV swept away by floodwaters.

Footage captured by the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office shows a helicopter crew airlifting the four people to safety Thursday.

Authorities said the SUV was caught in fast-moving water at Wet Beaver Creek, about 50 miles south of Flagstaff.

The current carried the vehicle about 150-feet downstream. The four people managed to climb onto the roof and wait for help.

All four were safely rescued and brought to dry land.
