Rodney Hinton trial now in closing arguments

CINCINNATI, OH. (NBC, KYMA) - The jury now has the case in the murder trial of Rodney Hinton Jr. The Ohio man is accused of striking and killing a Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy with his vehicle.

Hours after he viewed body camera video of a Cincinnati police officer fatally shooting his son.

Hinton faces charges of aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault. Jurors are also permitted to consider the lesser offense of reckless homicide.

Tuesday the defense and prosecutors presented closing arguments.

Judge Jody Luebbers read extensive instructions to the jury, who will begin deliberations Wednesday morning.
