Comedian Shane Gillis called out over ‘SNL’ monologue

(CNN, KYMA) - Actor and producer Dan Levy is slamming Shane Gillis' controversial monologue on the latest "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) episode.

Critics said the comedian went too far when he called women in certain gym clothes a disparaging, sexualizing word.

On social media, Levy is urging other men to speak out against the monologue, and the Emmy-winning showrunner called Gillis a misogynist.

Gillis has a record of controversial SNL monologues, and was fired from the show in 2019 over comments deemed racist.
