Prince Harry makes good on promise to skydive with Veteran

INNISFIL, ONTARIO, Canada (CBS, KYMA) - Britain's Prince Harry has made good on his promise to a World War II Veteran, and he did it from 10,000 feet, in a daring skydive in Canada.

The jump fulfills the deal he made with 102-year-old Ed Marshall who he met at a Veteran's Center in Toronto last year.

Marshall is a former paratrooper, who went skydiving for his 100th birthday and Harry promised he would jump with him one day.

But when Marshall couldn't safely make the dive this time, his grandson stepped in.

Marshall still came along for the ride, watching the plunge from the plane.

After the jump, Harry kissed the ground saying his wife Meghan was relieved he landed safely.
