Two dead in small plane crash in Southern California desert

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Two people died when a small plane crashed in the Southern California desert Thursday.

Footage captured shows the plane nose-down in a remote area near the San Bernardino County community of Hesperia.

Emergency workers got the call at about 10 a.m., and said the two people aboard the Aeronca 7AC died at the scene.

There's no word yet on what led to the crash.
