Barricades delivered to Ground Zero in preparation for anniversary memorial

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. (NBC, KYMA) - The perimeter fencing has been delivered to Ground Zero in preparation for next week's anniversary memorial.

The U.S. Secret Service delivered the all black fencing Friday night.

As security preparations for the 9/11 anniversary memorial continues.

The 8 foot high fencing is typically used as a perimeter protecting high-profile individuals in attendance of the day's events.

Such as the vice president and potentially former presidents who are expected to attend next Friday's ceremony.

It has been 25 years since the 9/11 terror attacks on the country.
