Imperial County student faces felony ammo charges

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA) - An Imperial County student is facing multiple charges after police said he was caught with illegal items on school grounds.

Authorities said 18-year-old Rashaan Sanders had ammunition and cannabis on campus.

Sanders is charged with felony possession of ammunition, as well as felony possession of a large-capacity magazine.

He also faces misdemeanor charges for possession of ammunition on school grounds and possession of cannabis.
