Bridal designers race to predict next Taylor Swift-inspired trend

HONG KONG (CBS, KYMA) - Taylor Swift hasn't shared photos of her Christian Dior wedding gown yet, but bridal designers are already racing to predict the next Swift-inspired trend.

David's Bridal has turned guesses into gowns, sketching about two dozen looks based on the superstar's style.

They range from romantic, sparkly ball gowns to shorter dresses that could be perfect for a post-wedding outfit change.

"She definitely will have an impact on some brides when they pick their gowns, especially to her loyal fans," said Viola Chan, Head of Couture and Design for David's Bridal. "So we think that there would be a group of brides that want to have her look."

David's Bridal said there's already an uptick in online searches for swift-style gowns, and once the world gets a look at the dress Swift chose, it's expected to shape what's next in bridal fashion.
