Powerball jackpot soars to more than $850 million

(CNN, KYMA) - The Powerball jackpot has soared to $856 million, which is the eighth-largest in Powerball history.

No one's ticket matched all six numbers Wednesday, and they were: 14, 20, 59, 60, 61, and the Powerball was 25.

However, one person in Ohio did win $1 million after having the first five numbers on their lottery ticket.

The $856 million jackpot, which is also the biggest lottery prize of this year so far, equates to a cash prize of $372 million if the winner take the one-time payment option before taxes.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday at 11 p.m. Eastern, and Powerball officials said with lottery players in the U.K. now included, jackpots can grow faster.
